By accessing or using FORGE Pattern ("the Service"), including the documentation site, implementation guides, and associated frameworks, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms").
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
FORGE Pattern is an open-source delivery pattern and business model framework that provides:
- Documentation Site: Educational content about Fire-Once, Receive, Go, Execute delivery model
- Conceptual Framework: Complete pattern for creating self-contained intelligence products
- Implementation Guides: Checklists, architecture patterns, pricing strategies
- Research Resources: Business model analysis, evolution paths, ecosystem examples
The Service is provided free of charge for personal, educational, and commercial use.
3. License and Use Rights
Open Source License
FORGE Pattern documentation and framework are released under the MIT License. You are free to:
- Use the pattern for any purpose (personal or commercial)
- Modify the methodology
- Distribute copies
- Create derivative works

Acceptable Use
You agree to use FORGE Pattern:

- ❌ For any illegal activities
4. No Warranties
FORGE Pattern is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
We do not guarantee:
- Commercial success of FORGE-compliant products
- Revenue or profitability from FORGE implementations
- Availability or uptime of the Service
- Compatibility with your business model or workflow
- That the Service will be error-free or secure
Business Model Disclaimer: FORGE Pattern provides educational and strategic tools. Product performance and market success are not guaranteed. Use insights at your own discretion.
5. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- FORGE Pattern and its contributors are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service
- This includes (but is not limited to): poor product sales, incorrect recommendations, lost revenue, or reputational harm
- Your use of FORGE Pattern is at your sole risk
Product Strategy Disclaimer: We are not responsible if your FORGE products underperform after following our recommendations. Product creation, pricing, and market positioning are your responsibility.
6. Third-Party Services
MillPond Ecosystem
FORGE Pattern is part of the Cormorant Foraging and MillPond ecosystems. References to other products/services:

These are independent services with their own terms of use.
FORGE Pattern is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any third-party platform or service provider.
Other Integrations
If you integrate FORGE products with platforms (GitHub, Stripe, Cloudflare), you must comply with their respective terms of service.
7. User-Generated Content
If you contribute to FORGE Pattern (via GitHub, pull requests, issues, discussions):
- You grant FORGE Pattern a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, modify, and distribute your contributions under the MIT License
- You represent that you have the right to grant this license
- You agree to the GitHub Terms of Service
8. Privacy
Your privacy is important. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we handle information.
Summary: We don't collect personal data. Documentation is static. Your implementations and data never leave your device.
9. Modifications to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date.
Significant changes will be announced via:
- Notice on the homepage
- GitHub repository announcements
Continued use of FORGE Pattern after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
10. Termination
You may stop using FORGE Pattern at any time by:
- Deleting documentation files from your machine
- Discontinuing use of FORGE methodologies (if applicable)
We reserve the right to discontinue the Service at any time without notice (though we'd hate to do that).
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario, Canada.
12. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full effect.
13. Entire Agreement
These Terms, along with the Privacy Policy and Disclaimer, constitute the entire agreement between you and FORGE Pattern.
